这个extent of是固定搭配或 to....extent是prep语法笔记说的呀    那里明确说：extent to sth是错的。。

亲 千万别去记什么固定用法，都是不一定正确的，要按照句子意思去理解做提 extent to which, extent of       degree to which    degree of  都是正确的！！！ 两题的不同用法是由于句子意思要求不同罢了。
GWD那题，完整的是
The soft drink company’s flat earnings for the second quarter reflect both the success of its restructured global bottling system and the extent to which poor currency exchange rates are keeping down profits for multinational company
earnings reflect 两个东西 1 the success 2 extent，一种程度，是什么样的程度呢？ 后面的从句 给了解释，是poor currency exchange rates are keeping down profits for multinational这样种程度。
若选A 则变成了reflect the extent of poor currency exchange rates keeping down profits for multinational company。 哪有这种表达方法呢？



PREP的题是因为说each of the photographs 表明了洪水的广度，当然选extent of the flooding ，而不能选extent to flooding 拉！
