my understanding: not sure if its correct

后半句简写：

XXXXXX made it possible for cameras to capture material (with后面是material的定语，先省略）and to project it （指代material）with no resulting loss of image quality.

意思：XXXX使camera捕捉material，且在不损害图像质量的情况下project这个material

结构就是A made it possible for B to do and to do ...

主结构弄完了再来看material的with 定语

material with a degree of fidelity nearly comparable to that of ...

that指代fidelity

就清楚了
