your school selection is ok, but adding more backup schools. your research in media management is called book chapter rather than publication since it is not a peer review work. gpa won't be a big issue. duke and ufl will be hard since you do not have much experience in behaviroal research.

回seelone gg,因为UTA今年的竞争非常激烈，用老师的话说，很多申请人都是超出了他们的预期。

大牛太多了，所以我还是多申请几个学校，保险一些吧。

I think I should give more advices based on your "gg" ^^

If you are sure about your interest in CB.

Don't waste your time on UIUC, Wisconsin, MSU, and WUSTL (but it depends, UIUC now has Wyer and Adaval, if you are interested in information processing, or affect, there might be a good place to go; WUSTL has Amar Cheema, he is good at "goals", but he is the only one there, so not comparable to other schools you listed; MSU is basically a strategy school)

USC, NYU, UMich, UFL,UTA, Yale, Columbia UNC are good choices

Maybe add Chicago, OSU, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern, Berkeley, UCLA, UMD, UMN, or at least some of them. They are top schools, but I don't see the point that you apply to Columbia but not these ones, they are on the same tier.

For backup: UArizona, ASU, Miami, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Iowa, UTSA

And if you really need to apply to ONLY 12 schools (You worked for a while so I think application fee shouldn't be a problem for you, you should try more), here are my suggestions

Top: Chicago, Columbia, NYU, UMich,
Middle: OSU, UTA, UMD, UMN
Backup:Miami, Iowa, ASU, UTSA
