答案是E，不理解的是who 要修饰students应当放在students后面吧，放US后面不会有歧义吗

United State是一個proper noun, 所以who可以跳修students.

版版，什么是proper noun啊，who的跳跃修饰跟united state合不合适没关系吧。

括号的部分是做后置定语修饰主语students 可以去掉

所以who在这里没有用错

其实最为严密的是students+who引导的部分+in the united states 后面二者是地位平等的 共同修饰students

可是who引导的这个部分实在是太长了 这样整个句子重心不稳也很不美观 很难把in the united states和想修饰的students联系起来

所以把who后置

至于时态 可以用过去式的

from的动词是increase。

1、who只能指人，所以students和who之间有US不太影响指代，因为who不可能指US。
2、in the last three years可以用过去时，表示increase没有持续到今年来，或者说今年还没过完，统计数据都还没出来，increase只是表示去年、前年、上前年的增长，今年的情况不纳入。
