以下是引用NSR在2009-4-16 14:36:00的发言: Again, I'm here not to discourage you. But people with your profile are a bit odd among PhD students. At a school like Chicago you'll find many 23-year-olds math geniuses who have a genuine love towards their desired fields. The stronger ones will have already sharpened their basic research skills through undergraduate research internships and may have co-authored papers with Nobel price professors. They'd foray into cutting-edge areas early in the program. Most of all, your professional experience won't be valued much except if it's related to your desired field of study. Lastly, life in research may not be as cool as you think even after finishing the program. You have to endure modest, college-like lifestyles. Not sure if you'll be ready for that after working for 10 years already...
老兄,你是牛校的就不要出来晃啦。吓着人家 LZ也是打算上个博士随便找个教职混口安稳饭吃,哪里说要去UChicago之类的学校了? |
