1。08fall入学的,4个中国人,1个非洲人,其余40多个全部是美国人。上课形式主要是lecture,还有很多group project。不会很难。I dont know about people without HR background cuz i have, so...but it shouldn't be that hard. If you wanna find a job, your english need to be at least fluent. We brought books from Amazon, or you can buy it from the stores on campus, but it's more expensive. 2. 08 fall students, 2 chinese found internship while 2 are still looking for one. School helps a lot while looking for internship. It is much easier for domestic students to find an internship. For full time, due to the economic downturn, only one chinese student found a full time job, in Dell. (Dell pays her very well) Some indian students found full time jobs too. 3. In spartan village, 367 per person, 760 an apartment with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom. You can find something more expensive or something cheaper, but living in Spartan Village is convenient. 4. I would say start reading some HR related books. If you can find the english version, even better. I arrived a week before the orientation starts. After you get here, get to know people, get to know the area, get to know what resources that you can use. Collect as much information as you can. Remember to attend the orientation held by LIR program, and you'll see me. |
