D里面the rate of fatty foods consumed...应该是the rate of consuming fatty foods.因为不是foods的rate，而是消耗的rate.除了rate要用复数外,US前面要加in.
同样的E里面the rate of people不合理.
A，C用了their指代people in France和后面的in France重复了:
the death rates from heart disease of people in France are far lower in France.

是**呢~

还是有很多的疑问哪~~
1 the rate of的问题
2 比较对象的问题
3 consuming foods 和foods consumed的问题，个人觉得还是food consumed用v.ed participle 来修饰，不用v.ing修饰

我认为their的指代不是指代了people in France，A里面算是就进指代foods错误，C里面的指代才是people in France。不明白为什么大家说A也是people in France呢，是根据后面的意思来说的么？

如前面大家讨论的，
D the rate of fatty foods consumed in France and the United States is about the same, the，
the rate in France and the United States不构成对比，那么B也不对了啊，B里面也有people in France and the United States
B people in France and the United States consume fatty foods at about the same rate, the

所以D选项的错误原因应该是别的吧。个人感觉the rate of consuming fatty food这个解释更合理。
