刚刚收到信息，committee还是决定收我为LLM，我问他们是不是认为我J.D不够格，结果得到这样的答复。

No, they thought you were qualified for the JD program, they just
thought the LLM would be a better fit for both of us.  They really liked
you and wanted you to be here, but thought the LLM program was a better
place for you at this time.  Then you can transfer to the JD program if
you still want to do that.

这个答复太牵强了吧，如果真的是这么回事的话我就无语了，是不是committee安慰我啊，难道法学背景还有错

楼主都已经考了LSAT了，还是读JD 比较好。

你可以再问一次是否有直接读JD的可能,既然说你合格,而且读JD又是你一直以来的计划. 如果他们还是说不行的话,我估计你得考虑LLM转JD的问题了.
