这里的one another 是指集合内的部落吗？

自己当时的理解错误是:The K recognized (that省略) 宾语从句ne social unit-the confederacy informally related neighboring tribes(主谓宾结构).意义上错误并且recognized的宾语从句that不可以省略。

为什么 tribes who 不用 tribes which  OR  tribes that(单数)?

我的问题是：“the confederacy informally related neighboring  tribes who interacted with one another more often than with other tribes。”里的related是confederacy的谓语动词么？句意看起来怪怪的……

我对who有疑问。不是说只有人才能用who吗？为什么tribes也接who而不是that呀？

这里还是不要把interacted改成interacting原句在interact上体现的一般过去时就没有了，变成正在进行意味的分词短语


本人是这么理解的，此处who从句和interacting分词区别在于，interacting修饰对象有歧义。虽然说逗号加现在分词在句尾，是伴随修饰句子主语的，在该句中即为interacting逻辑主语应该是confederacy，可是由于neighboring tribes离interacting实在是太近了，会造成interacting修饰neighboring tribes的歧义，毕竟现在分词也是可以就近修饰的，所以interacting现在分词在这里不好。
who从句应该是就近修饰neighboring tribes的，who从句不可能跳跃一个层次，从informally related neighboring tribes这个which从句的修饰词跳跃去直接修饰which从句去修饰confederacy。
