我有问题：only为什么是修饰the second的？既然是the second当然就只有一个了，而且从句意来看only修饰published更合适一些。

另外，前面说了the first book 难道后面不是the second one更对称吗？

如果only published是说仅由an American woman publish的。

而原句的意思是仅仅是第二本。

所以改变only的位置就改变了原意。
