Artificially inflated GMAT score. Good, or not?

Guys, isn't that rediculous that McGill has average GMAT score of 700 among Chinese students, if not more, and the average all is only 640?    It means that the average score of the other ethnics is probably only 620 or even less. Undoubtedly, there must have the similar situation in the other schools, although it has been to the extreme point at McGill. I am so confused.

I kind of hesitate, although I am still far from getting an offer, when I learn the fact. If, as a lof of Chinese folks     consider, the tuition is weighed so much when choosing a B-school, I would rather save a seat for somebady else who needs it desperately than go to another 'Qinghua'. I chose McGill simply because of its OK reputation in US and the chance to speak French. But I definitely don't want to get involve in    the vicious circle.

Since it's not easier to apply for McGill than to apply for top 15 in US, I can not see any reason why I should go for it. Given potential salary difference and overall repution of the schools, tuition is really nothing. Who cares about the extra 30, 000 bucks if you know you are going to get a job which can pay you off within only months?     I just don't buy it.

The difference is much more than    30,000 bucks. Top US shcools need 100K, while the tuition of McGill for residents is only 3K per year    and you can get 11K each year from Canada gov.

Agree. If that's what they do, screw McGill BS.

1, You have to pay back the student loan, no matter how much you can get, don't you? You can also get loan if you get admitted to the other schools.

2, I dont' know which school charges 100k, but it all depends. It's all investment.

3, Why some people perfer to spend $50,000 to go to U of T, Ivey or Queen's rather than save $40,000?
