弱弱的问，twice为什么不能用？

DE主要问题在于many不能修饰increase。

C问题在于double不能和as一起用在这种句型中。

double在这里做动词，以动名词形式引导状语从句，前后的比较对象可以不是同类，如果用twice的话，前后比较对象需要一致，我的理解是这样的，不知道说的对不对。。。。。

错了，我也选了B。

仔细想想，还是A正确。是指当年的增加幅度是上年的两倍(...rose..., doubling the increase)

有人说B中that指代the number，那么翻译过来成了“当年的人数是上年增加人数的两倍”，逻辑上说不通。

如果用了 twice as many as, 等于把Number和Increase比较错误

number 的 rose 带来 double，应该用doubling作状语修饰rose，排除CDE，剩AB
B中that指代有问题，并且 increase in搭配意思为“...方面的增长” 所以increase in the previous year表示 the previous year本身的increase不合逻辑。排除B
