Many corporations are scaling back their operations and focusing on their core business so as not to be hindered by over-diversification in the world marketplace.

A so as not to be hindered by over-diversification

B so that over-diversification would not hinder them

C so that they will not have so much diversification to hinder them

D and thereby not to be hindered by over-diversification

E and there is not so much diversification to hinder them

只针对A 和B：其实两个选项都没什么大的语法错误。只是GMAT语法要求中：被动语态不如主动语态；选项要避免累赘。在这二者之间，我选择了B作为答案，因为觉得虽然累赘但相比A的被动语态要好些吧。但是答案却给的是A。真是有些摸不透了。

呀，发完贴才发现原来B中的那个them是个问题，怪不得 做题一定要考虑全面呀。。。
