Hi 'Howtimeflies' & all buddies, Many thanks for yr valuable suggestions! i totally agree that know what i am doing, want to do, suitable to do and intend to do should be prioritized, and basically, learning myself is the most difficult but important thing. my experience seems confusing and here's my story: - i start my career at banking at the beginning of 2007 in Melbourne, by time i desperately want to jump out of the back office so start the journal of CFA and finished level 1 on Dec07. - then the amazing life open another door for me, i was selected in a 3-yr Finance grad program in my current organisation, an international mining corporate. i started this job at the beginning of 08 and know i have to do CPA as I am an accountant now. I was in Melb for my 1st rotation and now in Wollongong for 1 yr & expect a 3rd rotation ideally outside Australia later this year, - basically thats the reason why i seems rush into lots of certificates... after these 2 yrs experience and all those self-awareness, self-discovery trainings.. i have identified my strength and weakness, know that i'm not gona to be an accountant forever by giving my limited patience on routine tasks & lack of attention to detail, I prefer problem solving and regular changes on job. while i agree that accounting is important and is the ticket for me to get into the game. - so to get into the game to a manager level or i was seriously thinking of consulting due to my personality, i will need few yrs solid technique (accounting) experience and CPA qualified. and then, a MASTER degree in management and in a prestige B-school.. That's about myself.. so far.. do you think i need a MBA for my career aspiration? if i want to enroll in June 2011 so start apply at the end of 2010, by the time i will have abt 4 yrs work experience & Aust CPA certificate, do u think i still need a diploma by giving my 3-yr Bachelor degree?? Thank you very very much!! Maggie
