syings: No, it will be no different in terms of time-line. Most interview invites go out in the last week. As I've mentioned before, it is mainly linked to the process. Each application still has to be read a certain (similar) number of times, regardless of which program you apply to. The difference is that if you apply to HCM, you may have your application read by HCM readers; if you apply to Lauder, they are read by Lauder readers, etc. However this should not affect the speed of the application being read.
tarkovsky: This is not really relevant, since as I mentioned, it is completely random and not linked to your nationality or place that you're applying from. To answer your question directly, however, I do know of at least some Chinese applicants to Wharton who have already received interview invites.
