我想明白了，C选项中代词their指代不清。排除。

呃，不好意思MM，这题答案是C Prep上的官方答案C.

419 times the pay of blue-collar workers,
    42 times their pay 比较两个ratio.
        划线部分其实是两个名词。Gmat里特喜欢考double/twice/times +n 结构的比较。这些词都叫做其中times是preposition, double/twice是predeterminer.  就相当于在名词前加了the/a/on。归根到底还是名词结构。

我还是想说一遍，their没有指代不清。Gmat 里面的指代原则就是两个逻辑原则和就近原则，在这里都指向workers

查了一下，曾有这方面的讨论，讨论的比较清楚。(本来想发链接的，但是发不上去，是不是锁定不能粘贴别的论坛的链接啊？每次把论坛的名字给我删了，下面红色的部分为讨论部分）

个人方法：一般来说先选那些没有代词的，避免歧义的出现。实在都有代词，也是按逻辑意思指代，来选择选项。我个人觉得这题用their，还是有指代不清，歧义之嫌的。

不过刚才看到一个说法，B选项中，compares应改为被动式compared，因为ratio是被比较，不能主动完成这个比较的动作，这种说法还是挺合理的。所以B也有可挑的毛病。

哎。。。。虽然两个都不好，但既然prep的答案是C，继续纠集就没多大意思了。

大家还是运用一下从小学习汉语拼音表的方法，背起来好了！！
