honestly, i think the time/the day of your application submission is irrelevant to when you'd receive your interview invites. it's a random process. however, there is an advantage to having your apps being read early in the process. have you scheduled your interview yet? which part of the US are you at?

Stanford在中国地区的面试是face to face的，还是电话面试的啊？发面试的时间跟地区有关系吗？

应该都是FACE TO FACE的,是否和地区有关就不清楚了.

我是R1的,SUBMIT 40多天后拿到面试的.

i agree with happyme. It should be a pretty random process. i think they probably have only gone through half of the files (or less).

BTW, I am in Texas.

I've sent the email to my interviewer and havent heard back.
