本题已经有很多讨论了，我想到一个新问题：D中after exhausting是after doing结构，有没有这种用法啊？如果是强调动作，用done不就行了？如果强调事件，也应该用after n.才对啊。

请大家讨论一下吧。

这个从句用被动是因为那个动作没有明确的发出者，耗尽的石油储备的并非阿拉斯加

谢谢sjtupeeler，你说的我知道了。我自己根据大全注释分析了每个选项，还翻了前辈们的帖子。

但是我突然想到一个问题犯晕，也是前辈们和大全注释没有提及的。就是after doing这种结构的用法，想跟大家讨论讨论。

1. after doing表完成，那为什么不直接用done呢？

2. after doing（after exhausting）和after n.（after exhaustion）是否通用？

你怎么看呢？

我想after having done之所以错，是因为after表示完成，having done也表示完成，两个完成在一起就重复了。

另外，我想after doing和done的区别在于done一来有被动的意思，二来更倾向于表示过去或现在的完成，而本题是将来完成，好像用done的形式就不好，是不是？

被你这么一说的确有点这样的感觉，这个是将来的被动，似乎直接用done感觉比较奇怪

umm..after本身的確有表示action的先後, 可是after X has/had done Y是acceptable.
english有時候還不是太logical and consistent. =(
