Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to finish a project completely before to another one than do two or more projects at one time.
I always heard my friends complained about their heavy work. For making sure their can hand in their projects on time, they typically chose to handle two or more projects at the same time. Unfortunately this way do have to responsible for the low quality of their projects, costing much time than they thought before, and sacrifice their rest time.
People think naively there are no effects on the quality of their projects. However, it’s hard for people to put the same concentration on every project. Hence some project which people don’t care about so much may come out many quality problems. On the contrary, If people finish the project one by one, people can put all their attention on one project, and make sure the quality of that project. After that they go to the next one.
Someone may argue that they can save time a lot if they do some projects at the same time. I’m sorry I have to break their beautiful day dream. Since we separate our energy on different projects, which can result in lower efficient. Sometimes, you may cost 3 hours to solve the problem which you just use one hour to handle this if you are just responsible for one project. From this point, doing the project one by one is really save time.
The regular working and rest time is important for people’s health. Nevertheless, many people sacrifice their regular rest time to finish their projects which should be finished in a month in just couple of days. It’s obvious not good for their health. They may think they have addition couple of free days. However, they will pay for their unhealthy working schedule by the health problem to some extent. Nobody wants to sacrifice their long-term happy to exchange the short-term happy, I believe.
After read all these factors I’ve stated above, you must think about your working habit one more time. And you want to get rid of your old habits at soon. Why not finish a project completely before to another one? |
