As I said, a successful application is based on the fitness to the program and the presentation by the applicant. It is not simply contingent on the schools the applicants come from. LZ has slim chance in top 20, but it is not because of the schools he graduates. Instead, he has a low gpa, and doesn't have any research experience to stand out among others. Furthermore, the competition this year is really brutal. In the past years, around me, I can see a few (if not some) applicants can get offers from top business schools with the similar background. |
