我不知道是不是学校finance的名额都被美国佬占掉了 呵呵

反正最后的统计数字只公布国籍or背景，而不会把每个国家的背景分布公布出来

还分finance的名额，有点urban legend了吧。我觉得还有可能是公司吧；不幸先倒下的CDer们，不知道是不是国际上比较有名气的，还是国内名气比较足的，四大之类的毕竟国际上名字比较响啦。不过决定四大的人今年去干什么呢，自己的工资都加了30-60%不等，在这个年景有这样的涨幅，不知道该说什么了。

我猜是减少了ib/pe/vc,增加了industry/corporate finance/accounting/commercial banking的录取。。。

有没有可能是美国本土金融背景申请者大量增加，导致这个pool中中国金融行业的从业人员缺乏竞争力。

呵呵，有没有哪个投行的xdjm（投行部，equity research,asset management）拿到了columbia，wharton或chicago的interview的？

Just got the interview invitation from Wharton TODAY, finally... Almost felt hopeless and was ready for a rejection. Worked in IBD in two global investment banks for 2 years in total. G710, T110, top university, GPA 3.5 and 3.8 for two undergraduate degrees.

Guess it was partially luck, and partially self-marketing. It's not only what you did that matters, but also how you tell your stories. And I believe I owe a lot to my recommenders!
