I was at INSEAD session tonight (london), and was completely blown off! I have to say its marketing strategies and events were much more organised and comprehensive as opposed to those others I have attended before.
I was particularly impressed with the professor’s simulation lecture regarding entrepreneurship. I was hugely inspired and entirely smitten by his zippy examples put forth sprightly! Grasping the only five-minute break before the professor slipped away, I was asking him advice on INSEAD’s competitiveness with HBS. He did briskly circulate my query, but provided me with some sincere attitudes that I felt myself being valued!
He also surprisingly gave me his business card upon request, and was asking me where I was from and murmuring his current reformation project in Guangzhou, my hometown, before I had to say good-bye and was obligated to return to the admission information session. He was such a nice and inspiring person! He actually made the session out of his working hours, and was “whispering” to us that we could not release this to the dean. He claimed that he teaches at both INSEAD and LBS, and will fly to Singapore campus this weekend! Are all the professors literally surviving in this way?!
The admission information session rolled out okay, a bit boring as information was squashed – or maybe it is just me who has already been to three INSEAD sessions! I love its alumni, a great variety and combination of industry and nationalities. They did act like intimated friends and had a laughter together all the time!
I passed the cocktail session as unbelievably tired these days. But I talked to a Brit gal applicant on way to tube station, and really enjoyed the session even now at home!
If not HBS, INSEAD is definitely my first choice school! |
