I personally think it is important to have some internship experiences, (not necessarily for school applying, but for your job hunting at graduate school). It is understandable for the current job market, but you may want to have some auditing experiences (if that's what you want) in one of the big 4 in China. From what I understand, it will at least help you open some interview opportunities. I also think 在美国读本科 will be another plus for you, try some campus jobs during vacations or at least show you've done some meaningful things. (I have some classmates who played sports during summer time thus did not have any internship experiences still got offers from big4. the point is you need to demonstrate you didn't waste your time around)

I will ask my roomate to give you her perspective when she is back from NYC.

ND is on rolling basis, I think the earlier you apply, the better. (Oct-Dec would be the best time).

想问一下，在这样的市场背景下，ND有没有开始教IFRS的计划。感觉2010年想在那边找工作的话，通晓IFRS是必须的...

亲爱的学姐你好

非常的后悔今天才上cd，看见你的圣母帖。前几天我就已经把DVD及过去了，13号的时候小秘告诉说DVD已经收到了。

我的DVD搞的一点都不好，因为这周末考CIA又忙着四大的面试而且在学校和同学借来用的DV很麻烦人的，所以表情听不自然的，还有低头看材料的动作太明显了。唉，这些都不谈啦。就是想问问 这个DVD Interview的passing rate大致能有多少？还有小秘说14号他们会有committee的meeting来review我们寄去的DVD，大概是什么时候能知道结果？在拿到正式的mail之前会有e-mail之类的先知道吗？

问题真是好多啊，不好意思了。谢谢谢谢谢谢谢谢你啊！

MM的问题好专业呀

ND春季学期开了一门课，是专门学习IFRS 和US GAAP 区别的。

对IFRS有了解，或者以前实习接触过IFRS都会对找工作有帮助，但应当不是必须的。

Hi mm~ In terms of internship experience, I only did one internship in one of the Big Fours back in China. So as LS said, Big Four internship experience in China would be sufficient if you could not find one in the US. GPA and GMAT are also very important in your application to Notre Dame. You have enough time to improve your GPA and prepare for the GMAT. Hope it helps~  Good luck!
