但是D会不会有歧义呢？  their last scheduled day，是last day，还是last scheduled？

更好的表达是不是应该：their last day scheduled

就是their last scheduled day. 'the last day'是被scheduled出来的。

如果改成了their last day scheduled整句会变成：Unlike most severance packages, which require workers to stay until their last day scheduled in order to collect, the automobile company's severance package is available to workers even if they find a new job before they are terminated.

此时in order to 就修饰不清了，可能变成了修饰scheduled.

单看their last scheduled day和their last day scheduled都是对的，形容词scheduled可以放在所修饰名词的前面也可以放在后面。
