对于我这样一个小本来说，陶瓷真是一件非常吃力的事情，一个星期发出去十几封信，只有三个老师回了，还有一个学校也不是大牛校的教授很直白的跟我说，让我在英语国家读个硕士再申，真是非常失望。还好另外两个老师对我很感兴趣，其中一个老师还非常热情地给我提了很多建议，而且还希望我早日加入他的研究项目，回信相当及时和热情。但是他们都说由于录取制度改革必须要过录取委员会这关，所以被录取的几率不好说（有一个教授还是系主任，汗）。
  在现在这种录取委员会管理生杀大权的情况下好像套词的作用很小了，真是非常矛盾...

b school一直是这样，所以也一直说申请商科陶瓷没什么有，这不是现在才有的情况

貌似要套就直接套招生委员会里面的，不过目前我连谁在招生委员会里面都查不到。。。

Anyway, one professor provided me many helpful suggestions and introductions, and permited me to cite his papers in my essay. He has also promised me to be his research assistant if I am enrolled in the program. He will even correct my essay. I think that is the benefits of introducing yourself to professors beforehand. It, although does not guarantee, actually enhances your possibility of being accepted. However, to be honest, the chance of meeting such a warm professor is rather low.

那一般陶瓷信要怎么写才会让教授这么欣赏？。。要附上简历吗？还是直接说自己有什么样的proposal?

如果实在想套的话，可以套下associate dean，这个基本是抽奖啊， good luck

Yes, it really depends on luck. Even a dean that promised to guide me said that she could not interfere with the committee. I think that the goal should actually be to get the first-hand information and to know what professors really expect from applicants.

Also, if you know anyone who knows the professor, let him refer you to the professor, it helps greatly.
