1月拿的offer letter，3月才通知的奖学金

i am in London, 2 hours after i got the offer from hku, i received the offer from hkust.......

i checked the website, said the school will inform you about the sholarship..no need to apply...is that right?

关于奖学金的答案：

看来这个问题问的比较多。我今天给SACHIN电话，以下是他的口头答复：

The offer letter and the scholarship are two different things. They are decided by two different committees. Usually the offer letter goes first, then the scholarship will be decided in the next couple of weeks.

所以，刚刚拿到OFFER的同学们，耐心等待好了。权且推算一下，也许下月会有邮件通知。

注意：这是口头答复，是电话中对话的片断。请以校方的书面答复为准。

另：SACHIN还提到，截至目前已经招收近50％的学生，来自10多个国家。今年他们有意控制了中国和印度学生的比重（估计往年较多），以确保比例平衡和多样性。

建议大家：如有疑问，还是和学校联系比较好。当然这里各位师哥师姐的建议也是值得听取的。

Hello guys, I got the sholarship granted letter this morning, just before the deadline

so guess many people have already got the letter.

I dont know if I should give the confirmation now or still wait for HKUST......the deadline for me to confirm is 5th Apr.......
