C, generated through wind power now as was the case

为什么选C呢？

C应该是 as 不是 was 吧

这个it因该是指代的shifting away from our heavy reliance on fossil fuels

但是it不能指代整个句子，所以就用the case替换

it是特指，包含本身的修饰成分，那个energy是now的，所以不能用it指代
