我个人觉得C和D的句子侧重点发生了变化，C侧重于hormone本身，而D则是讲scientist。

所以C选项和原句的侧重点一致。

这个题目是比较难选，我自己也是错误选择了 D , 但是根据知道正确答案后倒退来分析，似乎可以这样理解D的错误

D中to make a synthetic growth hormone没有C中synthesize the growth hormone简洁

另外D中 painstakingly的修饰位置也有错，这种修饰细节上的错误 OG10中的题目里出现过

只是考试的时候那么短的时间不一定能想这么多，判断的对，咳，所以要继续努力才是 ：））

我觉得C也是有点问题的吧，before
        scientists learned how to synthesize the growth hormone, it had to be painstakingly removed,前面的分句主语是scientist，后面的主句主语是it，根据OG12 112题的一段解释：

OG12 112

as a baby emerges from the darkness of the womb with a rudimentary sense of vision, it ould be rated about 20/500, or legally blind if it were an adult with such vision.

这句话是错误的，原因OG是这样解释的：

IT begins with a subordinate clause ,whose subject is a baby , the subject of the main clause, it apprars to refer back to baby. however ,reading the main clause reveals that it is intended to refer to the sense of vision.所以是错的。

那么这道题，如果根据这段话的话，后面的it 去指代hormone，似乎有些不妥吧

这题的问题出在题意上：科学家为了综合荷尔蒙需要先把它（人体内自然的荷尔蒙）从尸体中取出来，而不是取综合过的荷尔蒙，所以只能选C
