本科成绩好的话，MSA学分在30~40之间浮动，不好的话，还要加的。33分算是挺不错的了。

是否需要多修一些课，是根据本科是否修过该课程，而不是说成绩怎么样。只要本科修到学分了，就没问题了。

如果本科从来没有修过任何与会计相关的课程，那么MSA总共就是需要修33学分，我一届的一个同学以前没有会计背景，她一共也只需修33个专业课学分，只是坏处是无法考纽约州的CPA，学分不够；如果要考CPA又没有修过任何会计学分，那么MBA-accountancy会比较适合，学分也要多一倍的样子吧。另外根据你托福成绩可能还需要上语言班（个人觉得有盈利目的，不过大多数同学都要上）。如果你为了考CPA考虑多修课的话，那也是可以的。

想问LZ几个问题哈：

1.上面貌似有一个你们的校友，说MSA这个program招的中国人越来越多了，所以想问问这个program一届大概会招多少人，其中有多大比例是国际学生，多大比例是中国人呢？

2.我本科不是会计学的学生，如果要读MSA的话读满两年的话，所有费用包括学费，生活费，其他乱七八糟的费用加起来，大概要多少钱呢？

3.最后我还是比较关心教学质量的问题哈，想问问你们program的老师背景怎么样呢？老师与学生的沟通多不多呢？

感觉楼主的信息跟我了解得不一样。我收到过STU的录取，告知我要修38个左右的学分。而且这已经是免掉很多了，如果本科成绩不好，诸如60几分那种，就算修过相关课程也有可能免不掉。如果以后走会计路线，基本要考CPA吧。

我想问一下LZ，一般什么条件能申请到MSA呀？

本科accounting,GPA3.6，每学期奖学金，优秀学生干部，三好学生

但是G只有540，T12月考（按最差的算就是80）

这样的话，有多大机会申请到09fall的MSA?

很不好意思在这里问问题，因为英语实在不好，但是真的很想去读MSA

唯一的优势就是本科成绩还可以，多次组织系里大型活动

请问这样可以弥补一些GT方面的差异么？

一般09.01月申请还来得及么？（因为12月考T）

我觉得LS可以试试，但不知道本科学校怎么样。

有可能还是重考一次G吧，太没竞争力了。

lz最近比较忙吗？我最近在students review 里面看了st John's 的评价，感觉和楼主说的很不一样呢？

具体comments如下：

好的：Students review :Our accounting major is outstanding though. Getting a job with a Top 4 firm is easy and I envy the great career placement our accounting majors have. You'll definitely learn, but it's tough.

Being an outstanding student here really isn't that difficult because there are quite a few idiots who don't come to class, fail, and so the rest of the class gets a nice curve. The best place to make friends are through the honor societies and through the honor college because of the stringest requirements, so the only ones there are focused go-getters who know what they want.

不好的：The majority of professors are friendly and helpful, a few are self-absorbed, arrogant, and out of touch. Academically, the school is not really that competitive.
PROS:
1. Great school for Pharmacy, Liberal Arts, and Law School.
2. Great athletic facilities and sports.
3. Nice dormitories. (appx. 20%live on campus)
CONS:
1. Arrogant aging faculty and administration that are unhelpul.
2. Tobin School of Business, very unorganized and professors are weak, many are adjunct. NYU,Baruch Coll, Pace, Hofstra Universities a better choice in the NY area for business. or up in boston Northeastern is great.
3. Parking
4. Social Life
5. Career Opportunity and employment not promising.

而且我看到有很多关于你们学校的负面评价呢。
