個人傾向C.
A沒有強調"known"跟"made"這兩個動作的時間先後.  而C有.
而這個句子主要說的是一個發現使我們認知(known)人類造(made)stone tolls在時間上有所改變.  所以有點強調time.  如果不是, A也okay吧...
E中的the earilest date of humans好像在說人類的最早期...kind of strange.

不过我想了一下，觉得C里面用完成时态(to have made)有点奇怪，好像觉得A里面的过去时态（made)比较通呢。

再看看大家的意见。

C中的to have made是在強調"made"比"known"發生的早...
OG中有一道similar的...忘了那一題=P
Prep2中也有類似的:

E不好因为date和human并不是丛属关系
