我不能理解为跟“had feared ”并列吗？

跟时态没关系吧？

如果是跟will avoid并列，come前面省略了will

但如果是跟had feared并列，come前面省略had也可以说得过去啊？

不是省略的问题，首先这根本不能省，其次是现在时和过去时不能混用，助动词不可以省（尽量补出原则）
