三篇 NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP I never remain suspicious of the fact that we should keep trying and never stop working for our goals. I believe that everybody meets many obstacles in their lives before achieving their goals. The successful people almost persevered through enormous hardships in order to reach their goals. The weak ones would give up their dreams. For instant, as everybody knows, Thomas Edison met a number of obstacles in order to discover the suitable filament. However, he still kept trying in order to reach his goals, even though he had try thousands of times and spent about two years. I personally think this is the most important thing that made him reach his goals. In my opinion, the greatest invention of Edison was electric light, for he got many hardships and failures, but he never give up. By way of illustration, you want to be a great basketball player, but you are 1.50m tall; you want to be a great singer, but what you feel obliged to studied chemistry in your seminar; you want to establish your own company as Bill, nevertheless, by someone else, you are just a thickheaded student. These examples are very common in our real lives. We can't evade them and it is unprofitable to comment on them. We could do nothing but endeavor reach those dreams. If you succeed, you will taste great joy in your life. If you don't succeed, you won't have regret in your life, for you have given your best. You might not be a famous basketball player, but you could improve your physical constitution. You might not be a great singer, but you could be enchanted with the sweet music. You might not be able to establish your own company, but you would find out your interest your dream and experience as a good manager. Endeavor for the sake of endeavor after success is human. Endeavor for the sake of endeavor is angelic. When we realize that the real purpose of paying efforts is just for endeavoring. We would have met with success. Risk and innovation If the road ahead is not so easy, innovation and taking risks will lead a way for us, like a guiding star. Magazines and newspapers never fail to tell stories about people who have come to success by careful planning and well honed skills, for it could reduce the possibility of losing everything. However, the problem with it is that, today while you still enjoy doing the things you are already expert in, others have innovated their means, using new technology, even have already made decisions and learned the value of new experiences. Taking risks is necessary on the way to success. People who get too careful to make plan often find themselves unable to make decisions, for they are looking for more and more information in order to make a well informed assessment, but they are taking too long. It is undeniable that continuously innovative technologies have brought tremendous benefits, with the appearance of the creative technology the age of information shifted into another epoch. Because of the automobile, people could travel more comfortably and conveniently to destinations near and far, and the figurative world moved closer together. It is also true that computers have quickened the pace of life by allowing us to communicate and do business more efficiently, and this can certainly result in stress. After all, time saved is usually spent on accomplishing more tasks, and thus people, contributing to innovating, is promoting progress. In conclusion, to be more realistic, we may take advantage of the efficiency which modern society brings us; to be more sensible, we may reap profit of the innovation which taking risks brings us. I still remember the classic sentence in Lion King-I laugh in the face of danger.
