I agree with Sui. Moreover if CKGSB wants to build its reputation, it has no choices but make lots of investments at least in future three years. That means, the first-three MBA programs graduates will get huge supports from it. In addition, the people who choose study in China always want to deveplop their careers in China. Do you think the people who knows CEIBS is more than people who know Li JiaCheng? Not at all. At last, for Fortune 500 companies, who cares CEIBS or CKGBS? It makes no differences to them and they only care the quality of MBA graduates. How can CEIBS keep the quality of its graduates after it recruits more people from 2005. As we all know, it is not easy to build good reputation, but it's mcuh easy to demage reputation! To be frank, if CEIBS recruited more than 200 people for this session, I would not join in it. And because it keeps same size, I right now am in hesitation. Really appreciate XDJM discussing this topic.
Although CK offically declare that it prefers apllicants with higher GMAT score, its student profiles for 2003 admits reflect it also adopts a pratical policy in choosing candidates.
Class expansion surely means more competetion in campus recruitments, but bigger class may invite more recruitments to campus.
I am certain there are much more people who know Europe than the people who know Li Kiacheng.
CE may expand class for a variety of reasons, but by no means for tuition from full time MBA, which accounts for only a small portion in its income.
I am not questioning the quality of CK, but I believe, the only drive that can lead a CE admit to CK is scholarship. Admit it, please.
