2."to compare to" is to point out or imply resemblances between objects regarded as essentially of a different order.
3.compare to VERSUS compare with: On the GMAT, "compare with" is the generally preferred form. Use "compare to" to point out an abstract or figurative likeness, and "compare with" to consider likeness and differences in general. eg1 : Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? eg2 : Compared with a summer's day, it's cold outside.
4. compare to 寻找事物的相同点 Compare with 寻找事物的不同点 5.Og11(yellow)已经淡化二者区别,在口语中二者接近相同。只是compare to可表示“比喻”,而compare with不能
