各位大虾，本人国内大陆top 5 大学毕业，本科是语言类专业，毕业后进入一家外资房地产公司工作，但做的不是投资方面的事情，G接近满分，T正准备考，目前最大的软肋就是工作经验只有2年，想申请Full time MBA 的话，可以在什么地方弥补工作经验的不足呢？谢谢啦~

可是我不希望浪费时间在自己不喜欢的function上，希望早点通过MBA转型到自己喜欢的function(投资）。

那是不是意味着2年的工作经验申请基本没什么希望了？谢谢！

你現在什么function?   現在香港的bank里很缺real estate 背景的人,因為市場很火,你看看今年多少個內地的developer上市你就知道了.  如果你從你現在的行業里學到一個developer怎么操作和賺錢的話,在香港找個銀行里跟real estate很有關的工作不難. 換句話說, 應該3-5年的real estate經驗的人市場難求.

至于能不能進某個MBA. 我覺得你應該看過這么短期的目標,而需要看到以后你career怎么轉型和是否能fit到你想做的行業.

i am working in a real estate professional service company, previously in Research team as an analyst and now in Commercial team as a broker. But I may go back to Research next year after the rotation ends.

My interest is in commercial property investment, but I don't have any financial background. And internal exchange to investment department is really difficult now. That's why I am considering a MBA program to fill the gap. Do u think it will work?

If I were you, I would do research for a few years. Then it would be a good time to look at MBA or MSF. Experience in your case matters because you try to stay in your industry. If you want to do something that is totally different from what you are doing right now, then getting an MBA asap would be the answer.

Also, on whether MBA would fill the gap, I suggest you talk to the investment department at your firm and see if they value an MBA. They are more qualified than me in answering that question.

The Hong Kong market right now still does not have a lot of quality jobs out there, except in a few sectors. Hopefully, they will come out after the Chinese New Year.

Actually application process is a way to reflect myself. A rough and simple idea of getting an MBA degree at the very beginning grew step by step with my more and more clear recognition of my career path. Maybe I will wait for another year to apply the program, but I really benefit from talking with others who helps me find my way.

Commercial property market in Shanghai starts to bottom out and hopefully the head accounts will not be frozen any more.
