答案是D,可是B为什么不能选呢? 而且D里莫名其妙的出现了were capable of 这种表示"能够"的词语,而原文中并没有这个意思,属于意思改变;另外,使用短语不是比使用从句更加简洁有效吗?

正确答案D, 这里用 could 比较好，用 were capable of 也不能算错。

B 错在with 结构做定语，前面一般不用逗号。而且with 结构做定语不够FORMAL，不如定语从句好~

我考虑了这个问题，但前句是复数，后句是单数，WITH 里面有THEIR
