10题我也没搞懂，because在前在后有什么区别．
1题A的it是指代不清，而且表达累赘．
8题我觉得问题不在their吧．B的than they were　使比较的主语出现逻辑问题，意思成了把一个事物前后做了比较．但其实是拿现在的more fuel-efficient的车和以前的less efficient的车做比较．比较主语是不同的对象．所以C中用those 指代其它的车．D中的those　好像对应manufactures,而c中用that 就很明确比较对象应该是车．个人之见．
14的其它答案更糟糕，语法有问题．不是很清楚．请问其他人意见呢？
