由likely to V看比较

我发现比较句型有一个字likely频率相当高，尤其more... than或as..as后面的主词到底要不要补出be动词很伤脑筋。兹将看到的likely正确选项列举如下：

            those who ate no nuts at all.个人觉得这里的were是可以不用补出的，要不就是此题中其他的选项都有明显的错误，were不是考点

这里是从google上搜出的一句话:Teenage boys who suffer from acne may be less likely to suffer from coronary heart disease in later life than their clear skinned peers  如果仅仅是因为suffer from是动词而要补出were的话那这里than后面也应该补出may才对。而且1. Results of a United States study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine have shown that college-educated women and women living in the South and West are significantly more likely to use supplemental hormones than women living in the Northeast and Midwest.中use也是动词啊，为什么就可以不补出了呢

你問的這一題，因为suffer from A than B会有误解，所以需要补出were。因为它是一个研究报告，都用过去式，所以那个were写全就是were likely to。

我觉得你的观察很好，我昨晚其实也有想过这个问题，但是句子不多無法歸納什麼。
動詞有兩種，一個是一個字的，一个是带介系词的动词片语，後者几乎会补出，但是前者有看到有补也有没补的。

恩，我觉得这里用be动词是否补出判断就跟用代词指代是否一致判断一样，都不太靠谱。像这句话 Therefore, employees of Company O are less likely to have job-related accidents than are employees of Company P.
prep1逻辑里的，是不是跟举例的第一句结构有点similar呢，都是sb be more/less likely to do than sb但是这里就补出be了，这些选项里肯定还有其他的错误

呵呵，我記得the fact that在CR还是RC常有见到。

有些比较题目，记得一两题吧，两个选项一模一样，就是一个有补、一个没补。不过题目我现在想不起来，既然有这样考法，代表一定有一个判断思考方式。

我看了半天，找到了8的原题，最后觉得，

这两个所谓的不能省略的are, 其实也可以省略，没什么歧异，more在likely前面，修饰很明确，跟result和suffer from没有关系。

补出不补出都是对的。
