Hi all,
Just finished doing the first round of OG SC and CR (and the books by Liu-ZM and Chen-XD). So far I can only get around 85% of the questions correctly on both parts. So my question to anchoret, mindfree and the other the big NNs- on the actural test, what % of questions must I answer correctly if I am aiming for a VERBAL 40+ (and total 700+)?

I think that your question is very difficult to answer, because in fact the test is more and more difficult. Of course according to your study condition, SC in GMAT needs summarize very well!

Thanks for your reply! I don't quite understand your reply. What do you mean by "SC in GMAT needs summarize very well!"? I'm working on going over the OG questions, especially the ones I got wrong. Is that what you meant by "summarize"? And is the test substantially more difficult than OG?

To answer your question in the other thread I posted, on OG RC portion, I'm getting mostly 1 wrong/passage (occassionally 2 wrong) under timed condition.

Really all I want to know how many questions I can afford to get wrong (ie % of correction) on any given test to get a verbal 40...
