I see. I think for your case, a full time program will be better. If you are already in banking then NUS is better, otherwise NTU FULL Time will be better. But anyway, this year is a very bad year for the whole industry. It maybe good that you did not get in NTU this year. As I know, this year NTU Full time MFE (graduate in this July) only got less than 10 ppl find job until late april. Last year more than half of their graduates land job offers in April. You may consider to re-apply next year. The competition is so tough in the market now. MFE is a very large investment, you do want to get a very handsom return. In a tough market condition, a full time experience top US or UK program will certainly reduce the volatility of your return!! I cannot judge ESSHEC RAM. But if its school fee is the same as those top US/UK programs, I would say its P/E ratio is too high to buy in. Base on my experience, not all but most of the GE graduates in the frontline are native french speakers with good undergraduate background. I guess you are still young, no need to rush at this moment. 40K EURO is a large investment, you need to make sure you analysis every perspect of this investment, By the end of day, the most important thing is if you can land the job and the pay you want. Alternatively, if you think US/UK cost too high, you may consider HKUST. As I know, their program director is one of the top expert in quant finance. AlthoughI have no information abt their placement rate, base on the course design and faculty, i would say it is the best in HK. |
