C 选项中，是否可以这样分析，a new study estimates被放在了最后，所以句首的分词短语的逻辑主语发生了变化。

如果e选项把has estimated 改为estimated 在语法上就应该说得过去。但是还是不够b简洁，清晰。
好像长句一般结构都是把修饰短语提前，再出现主句（主谓宾）。这样就能让句子清晰且突出主句～
