我查过字典，date back 后面加to/from，虽然举例用like不是ets提倡的，但是这道题目用like也没有问题啊，请NN指点

但这个伴随状语是可以修饰前面半个句子的，不光是主语。这样的话，也就修饰的是cooking food with fire，意思上没有问题啊

Like不只是不提倡，like在GMAT语法中只能作为parallelism中连接名词形式的被比较对象，而不能用于表“例如”。所以几个有LIKE的选项都可以排除了。
