呵呵～经过了这几天的学习，终于发现原来TOEFL作文的精髓在于论证。

放弃追求深邃和其带来的语法错误。希望这一篇让大家看到进步，让我看到信心。

        

Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space (for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets). Other people disagree and think governments should spend this money for our basic needs on Earth. Which of these two opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
                

Basic need
                

Nowadays, a hot and crucial controversy centering on the the scope of government budget concerns whether our government should spend as much money as possible on exploring outer space or improving our basic needs on Earth. A fair proportain of people hold the opinion that spending more money on exploring outer space can provide us more information about the universe. However, other people, in the other hand, believe that money should be used to meet our basic needs. As far as I am concerned, I agree with the latter.
                

Certainly nothing can be more significant than breads somewhere in the world. According to the rencent research papers in the U.N, almost millions of people are still leading miserable lives worldwidely. eople in African or Middle East, suffered from various diseaseas,earning less than 1 dollar a day, are begging for more basic needs such as food and medicine. What they are concerned most is not the moon travel but the price of rice. In addition, people also pay attention to transportation. eople living in the Everest Moutain area are eagering for railways which can lead them to a way of happiness. If the government spend enough money to build the road, I am sure that it is more beneficial than any satellite in the sky.
                

Futhermore, agricultural and industrial development is the key theme of 21st century in my country. It is not the proper time yet for us to spend too much money on exploring the outer space. As a matter of fact, we should firstly focus on the development of the earth. That is to say, issues like how to solve the enrionment problem should be proposed in advance. erhaps this is the best policy in this period of time. 
                

Admittedly, exploring the outer space can bring us some benifits. For example, it can satisfy our desire to unveil the mystery of the space. However, for a developing country, our prime work is to help more infants out of misery, share our love to the aged. Based on the discussion demonstrated above, I advocate the choice of spending money fro our basic needs on Earth.

A fair proportain  - typo, 我想你本来要说的应该是 proportion

However, other people, in the other hand,  前后选其一，否则有点重复了 忘了，补充一句是on the other hand

beneficial 我认为可以再加一个 and practical，你觉得呢？

enrionment - typo

exploring the outer space can bring us some benifits - what do you think about adding "in the long run" at the end of this sentence? Or not, whatever you like. Nothing wrong is here

our prime work - 1. I think the is better than our because I believe you're talking about all the developing countries rather than China only. 2. I think primary is better than prime in this case.
