B 和C的区别在于句子含义，不能够说in 1999 rate of increase of A is nearly twice as fast as it was in 1991. 因为rate 不能够fast, increase 才能够fast！！！

问个弱问题，IT指什么呢，是rate of increase还是只指rate?

修改一下，今天再看明白了，IT指rate of increase，觉得dreampowerGG和手机兄说得很有道理

查了章振邦语法,

i. x times(twice) + the + n.

ii. x times adj. (比较形式) than

iii. x times as adj. as 注意里面的adj要和前面的名词匹配

A do x times as adj. … x as B do

iv. x times + what 分句

v. x-fold

vi. double, triple, quadruple, quintuple,

第5种有人在GMAT里见过么?

另外想问一下

1. most companies pay twice as much to full-time employees as (they pay) to part-time employees

2. most companies pay twice more to full-time employees than (they pay) to part-time employess

意思上1 =2

问题是括号中的东东可以省略么

似乎应该好象仿佛可能看上去不能省

In my opinion, omiting "they pay" does not chang the meaning of sentences. but I still need help to make sure.

my another question is whether 1=2 in meaning?

1391兄弟的说法更有道理,885的考点应该是对rate的修饰上！

但72题中B选项的问题是不是处在应为increased BY more than two times上？two times 可是名词啊！
