who told you that? OM at UCI is very good according to some professors from Top10 business schools.

他家网页上只列了五位教授的名字，其实有一个已经离开了。除了Robin Keller外
有谁是很出名的呢？我不知你所谓的好是如何定义的。OM领域公认的牛校：wharton, stanford, and columbia. cmu也不错。如果你把OR也算进去的话，MIT和Cornell也是当仁不让的。美国人比较谦虚，总是说别人不错，有时未必能全信。我申请的时候，和几个OM领域权威谈过，其中有哥大商学院讲座教授，美国工程院院士。至少他们没人认为UCI好，当然他们也没直说不好，潜台词你应该明白的。

Gosh... It seems you equalize 'top' to 'good'... But 'good' doesn't mean 'not good', right?

I think one program is good only if it is ranked top 5 or at least top 10. But that's just my understanding. Everyone has his own criteria. If what I said before bothers you, I'm sorry. Just curious if you are a current student at UCI or will join them soon?

well, just curious how many people would like to agree on your criteria. I think UCI is a good one, and was ever better as Song was there.
