as be the case是Prep里才有的固定用法，用于比较两个“状况”即case，也有人说它是as the case be 的倒装

常见的用法：As be the case with B, A ... 或 A ..., as be the case with B.都是比较A和B的

另外一个不太一样的用法出现在Prep 2-96：

more than ten times as much energy is generated through wind power now as was the case in 1990.

我个人觉得这里的as was the case并不是prep1-120的那个as be the case固定用法,而是as... as...的结构，大家比较一下。

我覺得P1-39&120 and P2-96的as [be] the case的用法大致上都一樣 - 在指出2個situation是很像...
