Here "but" is used to mean Except.

Skiers can choose among A,B,C, but D.

滑雪者有A，B,C 三种选择，但不能选D

怎么感觉这道题考逻辑？？？

先说可以从……中选，又说没有不选的。

感觉应该是转折，因为只能从三种中选，所以可能会有不选的情况，而既然没有不选的情况，那就应该是转折了。

个人观点仅供参考

谢谢两位，不过我还是觉得有些牵强，为什么不能是因果关系呢，因为能从三种中选，所以没有不带音乐的，也没问题啊，不过你们说的那种转折我好像也在别的阅读文章中见过，好像是英文的特殊文法，在中文中我好像没见过，希望大家继续跟帖讨论

正确答案为什么不是D？

E的choose
among hard rock, soft pop, “beautiful music” slopes肯定错吧，beautiful music前肯定要有个and吧，同样，B的choose hard rock, soft pop, or “beautiful music,” 也错，肯定是choose among，而且也不是or，而应该是and。A的there are前缺少连词。C的choose among hard rock, soft pop, “beautiful music"也错。剩下就只有D了。

楼上的说缺少连词, 我认为E的but 已经够用了, 虽然D 在语法上没啥大错, 但不够简洁, 因为E已经表达充分了

D的另外的错误在于although连接的两个句子,并非有直接的转折关系, although skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, there are ,

我认为如果要用although, 最好是说

although skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, they can't ....

或者是

although there are hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, there are no...

我说的是E中的“beautiful music” slopes前面缺少and，和后面的but没有关系（三个名词并列，中间都没有连词，不会吧？）

D意思上确实比较怪，但是其他选项有更明显的语法错误。

要是E的“beautiful music” slopes前面加上and，那我也肯定选E。

我认为是: choose sth among sth. 正常语序:

skiers can choose "beautiful music" slopes among hard rock, soft pop.

所以, "beautiful music" slopes 前不能有"and" 或 "or", 由此排除 A, B, D
