if you are promoted, get award from the company, or achieve any other big success after submission, you'd better write to your interviewer to update.

Unless you have intelligent questions to ask the adcom, I would just leave it alone. The fact is every school seems to be so swamped by the dramatic increase in application, you are likely not to get a personalized answer to some minor things or concern. Waiting is pain in the rear-end, but hold on and good luck
