you may stay longer in UIUC MSA program if necessary but this does change the cost of the program.

students are billed each semester that they are enrolled in class.

of course GWU. if it's accounting program. You will see there's no difference between them upon graduation, no matter salary or future career development.

the reputation in industry of a program does count a lot, and LZ also needs to consider the networking.

gwu and uiuc won't differ greatly in terms of job placement.. both of them are the target schoo of recruiters. the thing is whether u are capable enough to hold that opportunity..  gwu is even better choice at this point, cuz u have two years to build ur resume while u will be pushed to the job hunting process with a relative rough resume and plain experience if u choose uiuc.. that's definitley great disadvantage for u..  the thing u must know is that the school's big name won't help u  much, i mean as long as the companies recruit at ur school, u will be safe, and then it totally depend on urself to get the job offer..

最好能听听过来人的意见。毕竟他们经历过.

 

不考虑排名，偶还是觉得2年的program会好些. 无论从Intern还是communications skills上说. GWU interns机会还是很多，四大基本每年这个时候都会来招summer 的实习，而且DC周围有很多
            accounting firms，如果自己挖掘也会找到很多机会. Intern的经历还是对找工作有好处的。communications skills 我就不多强调了，见过很多刚来的同学（都是很高的T 和G）说英文实在不敢恭维.

 

至于为啥GWU招人多的问题: 毕竟GWU不是一流的私立学校，学校的FUND很多要靠自己解决(不象公立的政府和州都给钱。如果GWU program才招20几个人，学校也别活了)，在DC中心的LOCATION也造就很多预算不是一般的高. 象MSA，MSIST, MSPM等这种不怎莫影响商学院的排名的专业，创收是首位的，在这些专业读的老美基本都是PART-TIME的，都是白天full-time上班的。而象MBA, MSF等专业学校是要抓的，就没有那末容易进了，而且给他们的budget也多，奖学金也多。认识个mba，说他们program的中国人都有奖，最少半奖，最多全奖，不过他们program中国人也少，据说才4，5个样子.

似乎UIUC的program size也不小吧.

 

基本上学校是平台，实力是根本。真有实力，去哪个学校都一样，只要别是野鸡的.

大家都是什么时候寄的材料,我差不多是1月初的时候才把网申和材料搞定的,现在一点点消息都没有
