C中which指代有误，同样，A中which也有同样的问题，而且each of which后面应该是单数把。这题觉得选E比较合适。

个人认为选E：

A，主谓不一致；逻辑问题：当...发生时，teeth lie in seemingly limitless reserve. 很明显when 引导的时间状语不应该修饰teeth lie in 这个句子，而是修饰slide into the appropriate position.

B,C,D有一个共同的问题，which从句都有修饰jaw的歧义。

E,正确。注意， ready是形容词，不是动词，形容词短语作后置定语。
